Christchurch again

Andy and I were due to fly to Nelson this afternoon, so this morning we had another look around Christchurch. Here are some pictures.

Christchurch is an amazing city with a great spirit.

    Is there significance in the white chairs?

    I like the look of Christchurch, shame I didn't get a chance to look round.

    The empty chairs represent those no longer there. That is one chair for each person who died in the earthquake of 22nd February 2011. The chairs were of all kinds, office chairs, armchairs, a wheelchair and even a baby's car seat, very moving.
